Am-Mex has been certified and validated under the C-TPAT program for Foreign Related Manufacturer. This certification signifies that our Shelter campus in Reynosa is a secure environment that works along with the Department of Homeland Security to prevent terrorism. Additionally we are –C-TPAT certified as a U.S. Importer of Record for our McAllen facility and Highway Carrier for our fleet of trucks. Per C-TPAT protocol, should another terrorist attack similar to 9/11 occur, Am-Mex’s C-TPAT certification of our supply chain (Reynosa manufacturing plant, trucks and US warehouse) will enable us to cross the border through the C-TPAT FAST lanes with raw materials and finished goods keeping the production lines running and deliveries on time. Manufacturers and carriers that are not certified will not be allowed to cross North or Southbound.”
